Through a difficult childhood, Kate developed PTSD, slowly as Kate began to understand the effects of her father’s absence and mother’s discipline on her mental health she began to heal.

Kate is a student in one of the two top universities of Russia, lives alone and prefers a good book to a company of friends (even though her friends usually don’t leave any choice for her but to hang out with them). Little by little she is making steps towards her dream: becoming a fiction writer. Stephen King, Franz Kafka, Howard Lovecraft and Edgar Poe inspire her every day and help her make her dream a reality.
