Surrounded by drug and alcohol abuse all of his childhood, Dennis Bagwell made the choice to commit to something larger than himself. In his words, it was “a rebellion within a rebellion.” He wasn’t just punk, he was Straight Edge.

Dennis Bagwell is a politically dissenting, Gen X, punk rocker, musician and writer from Buena Park, California. Dennis has been writing since high school. His indignant fever dreams and sometimes amusing observations about life helps to keep his spiraling descent into madness at bay. Dennis has seen his poetry, prose, short stories and music published in various physical and online media. A short film of Dennis' prose poem, "Hollywood" was released to coincide with the release of his 2007 spoken word CD, "Paid in Full." His hobbies are walking, dad jokes, reading books and playing guitar all day. He moved to North Georgia in 2007. He's still there, adulting poorly and skeptical as ever.
